[ To say that all of those things sound fantastic would be an understatement. G'raha looks a bit like, well, a cat who got his cream. He's eating well now and in good company with promises of both in the future...how could he not be happy? ]
I would be honored to be allowed in your kitchen again.
[ G'raha isn't a chef but he does understand how sacred the space can be for some. Especially those who are skilled. ]
I do, yes. Wellโ [ He laughs, a little self-conscious. ] โI enjoy what I am able to make, although I won't claim that it's of any real acclaim. I fully admit to relying more heavily on many ready-made ingredients here.
[ Baby Lyna would have loved Kraft Mac 'n Cheese... ]

Okay.
Eliot's a massive snob when it comes to cooking and ingredients but a lot of that is based on what he expects from himself and from him meeting people where they're at. If they're head chef at some Michelin star then he's got high expectations. If they're some mother feeding their family of five then he'd be a bit of a dick to be expecting French truffles in the pasta.
And most importantly, G'raha clearly just enjoys food and learning new things. That's pretty much the perfect combination to be working with Eliot. ]
Besides, everyone's gotta start somewhere, right? And it's not like we're swimming in fresh produce out here. But if you wanna learn then we can do that, no problem.
[ If only he could have had Eliot back on the First! Lyna would have suffered less of his attempts to provide "home cooked meals" for his adopted daughter. Thankfully the rest of the Crystarium made up for his lack of skill, but there is something to being the one to create, to provide.
He can see that not only in the array of dishes Eliot has presented, but in just how good they taste. ]
Then I humbly place myself in your tutelage.
[ He places a hand at his heart and gives a slight bow, but shortly after takes a hefty bite of the meat. Hmm. ]
I can already see it comes with perks. I really should taste more of your food to learn by example...just to begin with, you know.
